These savory shortbread crackers are easy to make and taste fantastic. They make a great addition to an hors d’oeuvres platter, but are just as good on their own. I don’t own a food processor so I combined and broke down all the ingredients in a mixing bowl using a fork. The cheese ended up larger than if I had used a food processor but I liked the way it turned out, with the bits of cheese turning a nice brown color and showing their presence.
The recipe states that these only need to be baked for 12 minutes but, similar to what’s stated in other comments on the link above, I had to keep it in the oven much longer until the edges turned golden brown, even though mine appear to be cut thinner than intended.
